Paper and e-paper

Paper is trendy. From sculptures to watches, it has been popping up this week.

A new watch from Sony uses e-reader technology, you know, the sort that goes into your Kindle, for these very smart watches. Not only the face can change but the strap can too. Excellent for when you want to change your outfit and match your watch to it. As this article from BBC News states, fashion like this is going to be the driver for technological change in the future.

But it is not only technological paper that is newsworthy. Try this piece about Daniella Woolf from our friends over at textileartist.org. Daniella makes sculptures and art using diverse materials like paper, paint and leaves. Fantastic!

And it being the internet, that is just the start of the journey. Along the way we have discovered a paper suit, a paper ram and paper moths. And all this with simple paper....
