A workshop in November

Four hardy souls have braved the ice and snow to spend the weekend in the studio on a Beginners Weaving course.

This week has been full of sunshine and snow showers with icy roads and those lovely cold days. We have had huge clouds and rainbows too. What perfect weather for holding a course at the studio for those wanting to learn how to weave. 

It is always surprising how diverse the cloths turn out on one of these courses. Starting with the same warp and threading does not seem to make any difference. As the groups work through the two days they always come up with interesting and unusual colour combinations and surprises.
