November in Shetland
The weather is, in common with the rest of the UK, spectacularly mild. We have flowers in the garden that normally are in bloom in August, and bright days even though they are shortening quickly.
This morning while driving to work, I had to stop to take some photographs of the scene.
The lochs and sea lay bluey-grey in the hills, framed by the spectacular red grass and bright green of the mosses. Today we had clouds and blue sky, amazing light and incredibly deep colours so here are some pictures for you. What a lovely surprise for a November morning!
