The sound of islands which never existed

An Atlas Obscura article this week highlighted the work of Andrew Pekler who recreates the sounds of islands that probably never existed. 

Scattered across the globe are ghosts of islands which seafarers have written about and charted for centuries. Andrew has created electronic soundscapes which capture birdsong, waves and music from these places. There is a map which places the islands where they supposedly should be with the accompanying soundscapes. You can play on the map here.
