New Designers 2018

This week was the first week of New Designers in London. 

New Designers is a showcase for up and coming designers, graduates and companies, held in Islington's Business Design Centre. More than three thousand designers show their work and ideas including Shetland College students. Congratulations to the Shetland contingent on your calm, peaceful, beautiful display. It was lovely to be able to see garments and cloths displayed well with space around each piece so that we were able to view the work well. 

There was some very exciting new work on display at the event. These kinds of event are always useful for meeting new people, seeing new things, and reconnecting with colleagues and acquaintances. 

The second week of New Designers starts on 4th July and features interiors, furniture and illustration and design.
