New research into tweed

Next year I am going to start a "Master of Research" degree, looking at what constitutes Shetland tweed and how to take this important cultural craft into the future.

The MRes builds on the previous research project we did and this time will be undertaken through Glasgow School of Art. It is a two year degree, part-time, and through it I intend to develop a comprehensive idea of what makes Shetland tweed unique. I also plan to explore and experiment through the project. It is going to be an Exciting Year and I shall keep yopu informed about the research as it continues.
