Happy Mothering Sunday!

It is Mothering Sunday here in the UK. Here is to mothers everywhere!

Our Mothering Sunday is a different date and a different event to Mothers' Day elsewhere, and it has its roots in the Christian Church. Traditionally the fourth Sunday of Lent was a day when everyone returned to the "mother church" as opposed to the parish "daughter church", with the consequence that families got together. Gradually this became a day of celebrating mums with gifts of flowers and delicacies. With that in mind, here is something to make you smile on this special day...
