The moon as you have never heard it

Katie Paterson (currently showing work at the Wellcome Trust in London) has created E.M.E., a beautiful piece of musical art.

Using Morse Code, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata was beamed up to the Moon and the reflected radio waves turned back into music to be performed by a self-playing grand piano. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to hear some of the score. What an elegant and lovely idea, and thank you to the reader who alerted me to the show.
