Under Milk Wood

Dylan Thomas' "play for voices" has just been on the telly in a unique presentation which spans the Northern Hemisphere.

Bringing the Welsh poets words to life in a cast of famous names from the acting and musical stage, the play brings together Welsh voices from New York, Los Angeles, London, Cardiff and Laugharne, Dylan's home in the last years of his life, using the magic of the interweb. The play had us giggling, laughing, crying and sighing in equal measure. A really lovely presentation, full of pathos and light, energy and zest for life, all spiced with Dylan Thomas' spiky, witty and shrewd capturing of small town life. Catch the play again in BBC iPlayer in the UK.
