Dementia survey

Shetland Islands Council, NHS Shetland and the University of Stirling have embarked on a mapping exercise, learning more about what activities are on offer for people with dementia and memory problems.

The short survey is online and it would be very useful to get as many responses as possible, from community groups who have no dealings with anyone with dementia to those who work with it every day. Dementia awareness is important for all of us; by 2021 it has been estimated that 1 million people in the UK will have it. If we know what help and support there is out in the community, we are all better equipped to deal with it.
