Map Academy

A new resource that aims to broaden our understanding of culture and history has come online. 

The Map Academy runs a blog, courses and an Encyclopedia, basing all of those elements on the region's rich history and culture. The Academy is a collaborative effort by a team of creatives, researchers, writers and editors, and is a non-profit body. 

If you are interested in, say, the textiles practices of the area the eoncyclopedia's entries under the Textiles subject heading will be well-worth a browse. There are also headings for Sound, Books, Ceramics, and many more udner the Category heading.
