The strange world of mannequins

A report from the BBC website about mannequins is an interesting read. But an even more interesting watch!

As the shop window models undergo a size change, the article shows us how shapes and sizes have changed over the decades as have the materials that have been used to make the mannequins; wax, plaster, fibreglass and papier mâché.

There is a fascinating short video of the making of the models in the article. I, for one, will not look at a shop model in the same way again...
