Mark Lomax and Mark Lomax

There is an intriguing exhibition on at the moment in Ullapool: Mark Lomax and Mark Lomax.

Thanks to a reader of the blog (thank you very much, Iain, both for the information and pictures) a subject to dear to my heart is on show in An Talla Solais Gallery. A collaboration between Mark Lomax, musician, and Mark Lomax, artist has resulted in a show of quilts, music and sculptures, bringing together Africa, Europe and the USA through an exploration of culture, art and craft. Textiles and music is just how I started out on this adventure in weaving and so you can understand my enthusiasm for this collaboration!
