Lois Walpole

Lois is one of our directors and we are really pleased to see that there is an exhibition of her work from 26th March until 1st May.

Working in basketry, Lois creates pieces using materials that we all have access to, and this exhibition is entitled urbanbaskets: tradition recycled. It is through Lois that I have encountered Spanish corozas, baskets made from ropes, and understood more about Louise Bourgeois' work.
