Our studio library

Our studio library is growing, thanks to our local charity shops and eBay.

If you have been to our studio, you will know that it is full of interesting things that we have found on our travels or that people have lent us (thanks Diane and Kathy). What you may not know is that we buy a lot of our textiles and pictures on the auction site, eBay. Take a look at their selection of vintage clothes; a great place for menswear from the middle of the twentieth century!

Our library at the studio also benefits from purchases made on eBay and also from our local charity shops. There is always something to find like this week's purchase of A Treasury of Embroidery Designs, Charts and Patterns from the Great Collections. A real enthusiasts guidebook to the history and practice of creating fabulous embroideries which includes pieces from the UK, Europe and America. Our little library is growing slowly but surely.

The books are available to anyone wishing to use them but we are not a lending library. If you would like to come along and use the library, please email and we will arrange a time. Please also email if you would like a copy of our most recent catalogue of books.
