Crafts from Arctic Canada

The catalogue of an exhibition organised by the "Canadian Eskimo Arts Council" in 1974 features Inuit Art and Craft.

This book, now in the library in the studio, includes some images of the felt work and costume that exemplify what we know today as indicative and characteristic of the region. It is an interesting book from the point of view of representation of people from the Arctic as well as showing the roots of today's art works that come from the North. You can see some of the pages from the book on this website.
