Lava Lamps and the security of the internet

Did you know that the safety and security of up to 10% of internet traffic is assured by... lava lamps?!

A bank of lava lamps for one company, Cloudflare in California, is being used to generate random data codes to protect the web. And even better, you can go and visit to see the wall of lamps in action. Amazing and totally F.A.B! You can read how here over on Atlas Obscura.
