Jazz at Two Temple Place

There is a small but perfectly formed exhibition on at the moment in London's Two Temple Place; Rhythm and Reaction. It is about jazz in Britain, marking one hundred years of the art form.

You may be thinking that jazz is not of any interest to you but this show will change your mind. Charting the course of the music through performance, identity and the impact jazz has had on culture and materials, the exhibition brings together disparate elements into a coherent story.

Included are three pieces of sophisticated fabric inspired by the music, which were available to the public to buy for upholstery or interiors, showing what a breadth of influence jazz had on everyday life.

The exhibition is on until the 22nd April. You can read more about it here.
