Music inspired by weaving

This week, on Thursday 19th April, a new work premieres by Helen Grime; Woven Space.

The Barbican Hall in London hosts the London Symphony Orchestra as it plays the piece inspired by the sculptor Laura Ellen Bacon's woven structures. I did not know Helen's music but have a listen to some of her other pieces here on SoundCloud if you cannot get to the concert, which also features Mahler's Symphony No 9.
