What's on Alvin?

Well, the title of this article is slightly misleading in that Alvin has actually finished weaving but this is what was on the loom this week. 

With colours chosen by Alexa and me we have made Shetland Tweed cloth inspired by the rich hues of heathers, grasses and the fields of cotton grass. Here is a (very) short video of the inspiration and the cloth waving in the summer breeze...
