A miniature loom

Do you enjoy watching the BBC programme Antiques Roadshow? Well, this week's episode was full of surprises.

If you can, have a look at the programme on iPlayer (those of you outside the UK may have to access it in a different way due to licensing restrictions) and go to 15 minutes 50 seconds in. A lost luggage label leads to an amazing find - an 18th Century loom which weaves fringes and which was owned by the famous embroiderer, Mrs Delaney. The mahogany and ivory machine is beautiful and works, as does the spool winder found with it. A wonderful find!
