Summer flowering

It is coming to the height of the flowering season in the isles and we have oceans of colour everywhere you look. 

This year the violets seem larger, marsh marigolds more prolific, campion a richer pink. Perhaps it was the late start to the season or perhaps it is the fog causing the colours to deepen and glow. Whatever it is there is plenty of inspiration for anyone! Here is the newest warp to go on Alvin-the-loom for The Shetland Tweed Company, which uses those glorious colours of the summer.
