Fiona Daly

I am absolutely delighted to share some news of one of our previous weave residents: Fiona Daly.

Fiona was our Weaver-in-Residence a few years ago now, and those of you who have come into the studio may remember (or even own one of) her beautiful blankets with their natural colours and lovely patterns. Fiona has just sent an invite to her MA show in September this year at Chelsea School of Art. The idea behind the work is to share Fiona's concerns about the under-use of what are known as the Northern European Short-Tailed sheep breeds, including some of those from the UK. If you are in London between 7th and 12th September this year and you have a chance to get along to Chelsea College of Art, UAL, London, SW1P 4JU, head on over to the first floor of D Block and rooms D101 and D101A where you can see the Summer Textile Design Show.  Congratulations Fiona!
