Update on Fiona Daly

Fiona Daly, our weaver in residence in 2012, has just been interviewed for the online journal, The Island Review. 

Fiona is now based in Edinburgh where she weaves with Shetland wool, among other fibres. The experience of being in Yell has been a huge influence, she says, and we are very happy to have news of her down in Scotland. It is great to learn about people using Shetland wool from the local sheep (pictured opposite on a croft in Yell) and especially people like Fiona who have been here and know how special island life is. We look forward to her return visit to us someday....
