A concert

The instrumental ensemble, ffancytunes, is based in Yell and are going to be performing this coming weekend in Lerwick.

The concert will raise funds for a new opera that we are just starting to rehearse. Jan Tait and the Bear is a Shetland story which has a very strong North Isles flavour and I am very pleased to be a part of the opera, portraying various characters to Emily Doolittle's wonderful music.
