FestiYell

What an Amazing Weekend we are having!

FestiYell is the first ever celebration of the island of Yell where we live and work. It is a weekend of art, craft, workshops, food, sandcastle building, etc, etc, and a Whole Lotta Fun. We have had lots of visitors to the studio, been to a very good concert of local talent in the Mid Yell Hall, laughed lots and been very proud of the community that exists in the North Isles. It is fantastic to see so many people, locals and visitors, enjoying themselves in the sunshine, taking part in workshops, and generally having a great time in the island. And there is another day tomorrow when we are going to be conversing on a couch and judging the afore-mentioned sandcastles. 

We are already planning what to do next year. If this year is anything to go by, it is going to be a regular fixture on the events calendar of the isles. Fingers crossed. And great job everyone.
