New email address

After nearly twenty years of using the same email address the coronavirus pandemic has caused its demise.

When I had to leave Shetland to travel down to London, the studio closed and the telephone was shut off. Now the email address has finally caught up with those changes and has stopped working. Luckily we have a website - globalyell.org - and so now our email address matches the website. Please use andy@globalyell.org if you want to get it touch. 

This change is part of a wider plan for the charity. Over the next few years we are going to change direction and I shall be gradually stepping down from the daily running of the organisation and studio. I will still be involved though to help, advise and support as we develop new projects, restart residencies and stays, and work with our local community to raise awareness of the potential of Shetland and its textile heritage. I think it is Very Exciting, in these days of uncertainty and doubt, to be working on something long-term and fulfilling, and I shall continue to write about developments on the blog as we go along.
