Ekta Kaul

Ekta Kaul uses embroidery to explore worlds and memory. 

In 2005 Ekta moved to the UK to do an MA but after a few years found herself travelling between Delhi and London to look after her ill mother. During that time she began to stitch maps of both cities in an attempt to define what and where home was. These maps now are the focus of her art.
