Edward Burne-Jones

Edward Burne-Jones Edward Burne-JonesThe Pre-Raphaelite artist and designer, Edward Burne-Jones, is the focus of an exhibition coming to Tate Britain in October.

Known for his paintings, stained glass and tapestries, as well as his partnership with William Morris, Edward Burne-Jones' work is instantly recognisable (as this picture, courtesy of the Tate, shows). This show brings together more than 1500 objects, including textiles, and promises to be a crowd-puller. If you like the Pre-Raphaelites, (and, let's face it, who doesn't?) you can see the show from the 24th October until 24th February 2019. More information on the exhibition, the man and the maker, is available online here. It sounds fabulous!
