Knitwear at the Dovecot
The Dovecot studio in Edinburgh has been hosting a show of influential knitwear from the 20th Century.
The exhibition, organised by the Fashion and Textile Museum in London, presents pieces from the collection of Mark and Cleo Butterfield, the fashion collectors and archivists. Amongst the items on show are a Chanel jersey from the 1920s, crochet from the 1960s, and work from designers across the decades, including Vivienne Westwood and Di Gilpin.
Now in its last few days, you can catch the exhibition at the Studios until March 11th. Thank you to our reader who sent in the link.
