An intern called Daisy

In a first for the studio, a young intern who rejoices in that lovely name "Daisy" has come up for a month.

We are used to running residencies at GlobalYell but a few months ago, Daisy contacted Kirsty in her capacity as partner in The Shetland Tweed Company, and asked if she could come up to work for a month or so. This week I went down to Sumburgh on a bright and sunny, beautiful September day and brought Daisy up to Yell which will be her home for a month. Although Daisy is an intern with The Shetland Tweed Company, GlobalYell has kindly offered the use of a studio loom to her and we look forward to seeing what ideas inspirational Shetland brings for her and us. Good luck, Daisy. Lovely to have you here with us.
