Cyrene Mission in London
Cyrene Mission in Zimbabwe will be familiar to many of you who read the blog. I write about the art movement that started there occasionally and the place holds special memories for me as a Zimbabwean.
This week an exhibition of paintings, entitled The Stars are Bright, from students at the school opened in London's Shoreditch. The paintings themselves have had an interesting past, having been rescued from oblivion by an architectural salvage company after a successful showing in the 1950s in London.
