Crocheted sea urchins

Another link sent in by a reader in South Africa (thank you Fiona and family) brought a smile and some joy to the day. These giant structures are made of polyester cord which is attached to a metal frame, and each weighs about 100 kilograms, although they seem to float lightly above the marina.
