How do you felt a chimpanzee?

We have just bought a new moth for our textile collection of insects which we are building up at the studio. 

Intrigued by the idea of textile animals and plants, I started this collection a few years back and there are a few items now which you can see in Yell, but, thanks to the wonders of the internet and to idle curiosity, I also stumbled across an amazing video and a website. Kiyoshi Mino was commissioned to make this piece for by Andrew Zuckerman for a collection which can see in its entirety here. But the video of the making of a needle-felted chimpanzee is truly extraordinary. Don't you love living in a world where this is even possible and where we can see it halfway across the globe...
