Çatalhöyük

Over the water in Turkey there is a spectacular archaeological site, Çatalhöyük. 

A chance remark by one of my visitors led to the website for this project, the uncovering and excavation of a Neolithic settlement in Turkey which at its height had up to 8,000 people living in a town. I want to read about this before posting about it next week but thought that some of you may have been or may know something about it. If you have please get in touch and let us know more.
