An archive of carpets

Glasgow School of Art is showing the Stoddard Templeton collection of designs, drawings and patterns for one of the iconic carpet manufacturers in Scotland.

The archive is being catalogued and digitised, and will be open for the public and students to learn about this important resource from this weekend. The pictures on the BBC website show some of the carpets and designs, full of colour and pattern. What a romantic and iconic collection!
