Carpets but not as we know them

Check out these magic carpets from artist Ann Carrington.

Ann uses "mixed media", which includes horse brasses and brass souvenirs, coins and teaspoons to create intricate patterned carpets for hanging on walls. 

However it is not just carpets that the artist makes. Patchwork made out of beer cans, feathers made from coathangers, lizards made from shoes... found objects are transformed something new and slightly bizzare. Have a look at the website for more from Ann. Wonderful!
