Bear-ly there

New York artist, Deborah Simon, has been hard at work.  Her lifelike bears have a sinister tale to tell.

The bears are meticulously made using fake fur, clay, paint and foam and each wears a jacket embroidered with an inside look at the animal. Organs, skeletons and vessels are depicted in detail, highlighting the fact that these amazing creatures are endangered, literally in danger of being skinned.
