BBC iPlayer - Delphi: The Bellybutton of the Ancient World

We often have links to programmes and items from the BBC and these are simply not available to folk outside of the UK. There may be a remedy though. Have a look at this YouTube video from the BBC which tells you how to get the BBC iPlayer on iPad or iPhone. In previous research, I learned that The Ancient Greeks used music and weaving as metaphors for life, and many of their ideas about living were influenced by textiles or by music. It may sound far-fetched to us today but how often do we use the same concepts? We "spin stories", "weave tangled webs", and live in "harmony". This episode touches on the importance of music to the civilisation. Maybe we are not so very different...
