Arthur Bispo do Rosário - Victoria and Albert Museum

The Victoria and Albert is a really amazing place. It is full of things to excite, entice and amaze and, now that the Golden Cape made out of spider's silk has gone, something equally intriguing has taken its place.

Arthur Bispo do Rosario's work is shown in two rooms, and I wish there were more. I guess that he is best described as a visionary, and his pieces are intricately embroidered, wrapped and sewn with real and imagined scenes. See the show before the 28th October when it closes! http://www.vam.ac.uk/content/articles/a/arthur-bispo-do-rosario/
