Arms and Legs - the finale

The Shetland Textile Museum has on display the entries for its Arms and Legs competition.

The small room upstairs in the Museum is given over to temporary displays; Shetland College students, or pieces found in the attic. Now it is the turn of the competition entries. And what fun these are! From collars and cuffs to felted feet (!) plus a gannet costume, knitted to resemble wings and with the most wonderful head/ hat complete with eyes and beak. It is great to see how many entries there are including some from across the globe, and some from friends who have been to Shetland on my tours. (Hi Debra!) Wonderful stuff.
