Article of the week - number seventy-nine - A book by Peter Collingwood

Peter Collingwood was one of the most respected British weavers of the 20th Century.

This book is probably the best known publication produced by the artist weaver. The Techniques of Rug Weaving is more than a how-to. It explores the structures and techniques that are found around the world, broadening them to include innovative approaches to the craft. Published by Faber and Faber in 1968 this hardcover edition of the book is filled with detailed diagrams and instructions for weaving many different kinds of rugs from across the globe.
