Article of the Week - number forty-six - A souvenir banner

The Osmond family have been part of Western musical history since the 1960s.

At concerts in the 1970s banners like this were sold to The Osmonds' fans who brandished them overhead enthusiastically. It is unsurprising that not many have survived this treatment but, apart from a fringe thread that has come unstitched, the studio's one is in remarkably good condition.

It features Jimmy Osmond's name in red and a picture of the very young musician. A little bit of nostalgia for those of you who were around at the time!
