Article of the Week - number fourteen

This blanket is well-used. Threadbare and worn, it is still bright, and has fantastic motifs of First Nation warriors on horseback, arrows in a quiver, ponies, teepees, masks and totem poles. Of course it HAS to be from the 1950s! The blanket forms part of the collection of blankets from the 1950s in the studio.

On this piece there is no label. It is probably Dutch but I would love to be corrected. If you know anything at all about it, please get in touch and let us know.
