Anni Albers
A much-anticipated exhibition is about to open at Tate Modern in London: Anni Albers.
Anni Albers, a member of the Bauhaus movement, was hugely influential on the craft of weaving and on ideas about art. Her thoughts about abstraction and creation continue to fascinate makers and artists today, and her work is instantly recognisable around the world. She influenced teaching and the ways in which we look at weave, pattern and structure; a powerful and unique figure in art and craft.
You can read more about Anni Albers here and here. The exhibition opens on 11th October 2018 and is on until the end of January 2019.
