Andy Warhol textiles
The Pop artist, Andy Warhol, is famous for his art... and his textile designs.
Perhaps it is not surprising that the artist worked with textiles. After all, his famous pieces, such as Campbell's Soup Cans, use techniques that textile printing makes use of too: stamping and painting among them. Yet his textile work has not really had much attention until recently. Now, in an exhibition at London's Fashion and Textile Museum, the designs from his early days as a commercial designer are being shown until 10th September. Don't they look like loads of fun?
