Shetland's Folk Festival week is finally here! I have tickets for the concert in Mossbank and the Singing Concert in town over the weekend, and looking forward hugely.

The Folk Festival is a real highlight in the cultural calendar of the isles. It has been running for years, getting bigger and better each time it runs. Nowhere is missed out in the islands; we are really lucky to have Cullivoe as a venue, and people come from all across the world to participate and to enjoy the weekend. The Festival is entirely volunteer-driven and led, and is an incredible effort to bring the best of folk and world music to our remote and beautiful islands. Thanks folks!
