An explanation...

This October, we were meant to be running our first residential event in the North Isles with two makers from South, Kathy and Stacey. We planned to have these two inspirational weavers working here to explore weave structures in a group, staying locally and using the computerised looms to add textures to cloth.

Sadly we had to postpone the event because we could not find enough money to run it this year. Â In these times, that is not really surprising, however, to my delight, both Kathy and Stacey want to try again next year! Thank you both. I will let everyone know what happens and what we are going to do. It is an exciting project....
