Symphonie en couleur

A new show by Abdoulaye Konaté has just opened in London, at the Blain Southern Gallery in Hanover Square.

Entitled "Symphonie en couleur" it is new work by the Malian artist who uses fabrics in his pieces to comment on social, political and environmental issues. I did not know this artist before the email announcing the show popped into the inbox but I am glad I do now. Beautiful colours and textures in the pieces, and more in this section of the gallery website.

The exhibition is open now - from Sept 2nd until the 24th Sept. It looks like a must-see.
