Aage Thaarup

When I was growing up, one of my favourite books to read was called "Heads and Tales" and was the autobiography of Danish milliner, Aage Thaarup. His witty take on all things headwear made me happy, and when I heard the name of the volcano near Auckland, Rangitoto, I remembered that this superbly talented man had created a hat based on the shape of the mountain!
